What bike size to choose?
Depends on the cyclist's height and age. You may consult the following table

What kind of bicycle to choose?
- Mountain bikes
If you want to go off-road use this type. Their tires are usually wider and have a better grip on dirt. They usually have a front and/or a back suspension.
- City bikes
Good for use in an urban environment. They usually come with mud guards, chain guards and lights.
- Trekking bikes
These are combinations of mountain and city bikes. Design wise they look more like mountain bikes. City-bike accessories such as baskets and mud-guards can be attached to them. Compared to mountain bikes they have thinner tires better suited for cycling on asphalt.
- BMX bikes
ΒΜΧ are bikes better suited for cycling tricks. They are stronger than the other bikes, they do not have multiple gears.
- Foldable blikes
They are city bikes with a smaller frame and adjustable handling bars.
