Delivery Information

Online orders through shopbikes.eu or telephone orders, are sent, provided there is stock, within the next 24 hours!

In such a case, the order has to be received from Monday till Thursday, up to 15:00. If we receive your order on Friday to Sunday, it will be sent to you on the next Monday.

The above does not hold in cases where certain events such as bad weather, disasters or strikes affect the transportation companies.

Cost of shipping

Orders shipped within The Irakleia and Sintikis Municipalities, the city of Serres and the surrounding areas are free! Similarly all orders over 85€ are delivered free of charge, through the Greek Post Office (ELTA)

We can also send items via ACS courier or a shipping company. The cost depends on the weight and type of the item.

Specifically, as far as shipping companies are concerned, the cost of shipping a bike for mainland Greece is around 10 euros and around 13 euros for shipping to islands. All shipping costs that refer to transport companies cover the cost for delivery to the shipping company's station, which is usually in the capital of the prefecture

Shipping bikes

Bicycles are sent tuned (brakes, gears etc) but you will be required to put together other parts of the bike (front wheel, pedal). The process is normally hassle-free and does not require specialised knowledge or tools, and we are always here to help you in case you find any difficulties.

Also, some products due to their size might have different shipping rates. In such a case, if there is an extra charge, we will inform you before we ship anything.

Shipping with Greek Post (ΕΛΤΑ) - Home or Post Office;

Generally if the Greek post finds you at home it will deliver it to you. It will also leave the parcel there, in case there is a secure place to put it in. Otherwise it will take the item and leave a notice so that you will pick it up from the post office.
